Message from Grand Knight

Welcome to the Knights of Columbus, Queen of Peace Council #3428 Third Degree Website. This site is designed to provide current up-to-date information about events scheduled in our council.  It is my hope that if you are not a member of the Knights of Columbus, or are an inactive member, that you contact me about becoming a member of our council.  Our council was founded in 1951 and is currently 536 members strong.  We are a church and community conscience group that donates thousands of dollars and service hours to each year to needy organizations.  This is possible by our fund-raising efforts and the dedication of our brother knights to serve the church and mankind.

The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.8 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people.

Queen of Peace Councill was founded in 1951 through the efforts of Msgr. Peter B. O'Connor who was the first pastor of Queen of Peace Parish in North Arlington, NJ. It is named after our lady Queen of Peace the patroness of our parish. The Queen of Peace Council works closely with Queen of Peace Parish in North Arlington  providing funds for various projects, members being active participants in the parish.
