Financial Secretary, PGK Peter Briody

Brothers, we sent the dues notice out twice this year. We are getting close to starting the suspension process and I wanted to give everyone who has not sent their dues in yet to do so or call me and we can discuss a financial arrangement. If you are no longer interested in belonging to the council let me know where you would like to transfer otherwise send me a note or an email expressing you interest in resigning so we can clear up the books. Thank you to all that have paid.  We depend on our dues money to operate the council.  I appreciate your cooperation.  You can contact me 201 991-8892 or peter_briody@excite.com or on Facebook.

Does anyone know what happened to these Brothers? Please let me know.

Thank you.

Pete Briody

Columbian Squires Queen of Peace Circle 5070

Brothers and Brother Squires, we are beginning another new Columbian Year and have scheduled a list of activities, all we need is you. If you are between the ages of 10 – 17 consider Columbian Squires. This is the Youth Organization of the Knights of Columbus and our local Circle is approaching its 5th year of operation.

The Columbian Squires is the official youth organization of the Knights of Columbus. The aim of the Squires program is "to prepare Catholic young men to become leaders among their fellow citizens.  Leadership training takes place in four activity areas:  Spiritual, Circle, Service and Membership.

Brother Barnabas founded the Squires to "give a young man the greatest possible help in making himself the sort of Christian citizen he wishes to become and we so urgently need.”

The Squires program gives the members the opportunity to develop leadership and teamwork skills by using the talents that God has given them.

If you are interested in becoming a Squires or Brother Knights if you have a son or grandson consider the Columbian Squires of Circle 5070 Queen of Peace.
